BLAGSS golf opportunities

BLAGSS golf provides opportunities for all LGBTQ+ people from beginners to advanced players.

BLAGSS golf is designed to accommodate golfers of all standards. We aim to provide opportunities for people to play with other players of a similar standard as well as a range of coaching options for beginners and improvers.

Pending the end of lockdown and the relaunch of social golf, Nici Rice, BLAGSS Sports Development Officer  is acting as the sports rep and will list on the BLAGSS Golf webpage all forthcoming events.

Any golfer will be able to organise ‘an event’ (see examples below) - just contact Nici at sportsdevelopment@blagss.org and she will list the event on the Golf webpage where golfers can register their intention to participate. This would work in the same way as the BLAGSS Walking Group where different walks are led by different organisers.

Examples of golf events

  • 9/18 holes at Name of Golf Course at time/date
  • Pitch and Putt at Roedean at time/date
  • Bucket of balls at Burgess Hill at time/date

Once it is possible to hold open meetings all BLAGSS members will be invited to a discussion forum to consider future management arrangements.
