Softball Show your Pride!Our BLAGSS softball team, The Brighton Blaggards, play in the Brighton & Hove Softball League and in other tournaments around the country. We are affiliated with the British Softball Federation. We're the first and only LGBT team competing in the BHSL. Experience is not necessary but if you have played softball before, we really need you! Teams are mixed gender, with equal numbers of each required to be on the field during competitions. Equipment and coaching will be provided and all ability levels welcome to play! Softball is a great team sport and very fun to play (click here for a Beginner's Guide to Softball). If you can hit and catch a ball, aren't afraid to run, and enjoy competing for a team, you'll fit right in. We're excited to give BLAGSS an opportunity to compete in a team sport in the broader Brighton & Hove sports community - so show your BLAGSS Pride and give the team a try! If you are not a BLAGSS member, please make sure to let the organiser know so that we can note your attendance and introduce you to the others. The sessions are held fortnightly at Stanley Deason Leisure Centre, from 10.30 to 13.30. The price is £6. Please bring your own glove.
